hey,
i'm yamil 🇵🇪
i love creating things and making them grow.
i grew up in Peru and used to only do two things back there: play basketball for my country and work on my businesses.
i started my first company at 13 selling basketball shoes online, grew it to 6 employees and a $150K/year business, in dollars.
after a gap year and dropping out of two universities, i came to study at Georgia Tech. during that time, i made +10 apps like sideye & issa, made friends i now consider family, and met my beautiful partner.
now, i'm 23, i graduated from GT, and decided not to take my tech offer in SF to go full-time in the company i started in my last semester of college: HackerHouse Campus.
it is like a frat/sorority for people working on their dreams (we turned an actual frat house into a hackerhouse). from starting companies to content to music, people are serious about making their goals happen.
in 6 months since the launch, it generated six figures in revenue, reached 1M+ organic views, partnered with companies like Ramp and Anthropic, and was featured by Fox News and other media outlets as one of the top hacker houses globally.
